| Luke started kickboxing 20 years ago after watching Van Damme Kickboxer. He joined a local club and started competing in semi-contact. After several years of doing this, Luke was getting fed up with the training & semi-contact rules.That when he met a man named Jason at his club who was WKA British full contact champion and after going up to watch one of Jasons fights, Luke was hooked. After a couple of years of training himself with his mate Wez, Luke won the WKA English title. Thats when it was time to leave the school he was in and SKA was born. Still looking for an instructor that would train him and do his corner, he found a local club run by a man named Pete Clark. The training was a lot better and he had a couple of fighters in the club and after a year of training with Pete, Luke won the ISKA Midland area title and the WKA British title. Things were really good until, due to the gym closing, the lessons stopped. After a while of trying to train himself Luke lost interest in competing and decided his efforts would be on promoting fight nights building up the SKA academy and looking for future champions to train. |  |
