Kickboxing for Beginners
Kickboxing at SKA is not only available to those who want to learn
a Martial Art; it is also there for those whose main aim is to improve
fitness. Kickboxing is a great way to improve confidence and learn
self-defence in a non-aggressive friendly environment. The lessons
are of mixed abilities and beginners are always welcome.
There is no need to book, you can turn up at any lesson to have
an informal chat with the instructor and either watch or join in!
With a structure grading syllabus in place and dedication in lessons,
you can become a black belt within 3 years!
Lessons consist of:
- Warm up
- Stretching
- Different punch and kick techniques
- Self Defence moves
- Pad Work
- Optional Sparring
Kickboxing for the Advanced
If you are already experienced in Kickboxing or any other Martial
Arts with another club and feel you are no longer being challenged
or just simply dissatisfied with the classes, then SKA can offer
you so much more. Come along to a lesson and experience the benefits
that SKA can give you!
If you are interested in becoming an instructor for SKA or fighting
in the ring, you are trained one-to-one by the chief instructor
to ensure high standards are maintained within the academy.
If you hold a Black Belt in any other style of Martial Arts and
can prove your grade you can join SKA Kickboxing as a Brown Belt
providing you can meet the grading requirements. So, there's no
need to start from the beginning again!
